It’s been two weeks since I unwrapped SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation and rushed home excited to frag. 14 days of lag, disconnections, and other online server-related annoyances. Over 330 hours of patiently waiting for the patch that will justify my day one purchase. I believe that’s almost 20,000 minutes too many.
I’m now looking to sell my copy of SOCOM but sadly there are too many people out there trying to do the same. I would trade it in but that would most likely turn my purchase into a ridiculously expensive rental. No, I think I’ll keep waiting for the inevitable patch.

As most of you have undoubtedly already known for a week now, my most anticipated game of this year has been delayed 1 week due to a couple of Qur’anic verses found within one of its songs. About a week an half ago (October 10) TELUS Inc. announced that they will be upgrading their network to the next stage in CDMA technology which is called HSPA. To many TELUS followers dismay they will not be changing to the ever popular GSM, BUT (and that is a big BUT) most cell phone carriers will be switching over to HSPA technology in the near future also. So take that ROGERS and FIDO.

After Alfredo from theexplodingbarrel suggested I read Y the Last Man, my good friend Jean-Francois lent me the first books from the series. I was instantly hooked! I’ve been a comic book fan practically since I was able to read but rarely has a non-superhero comic so captivated me.
I’ve read quite a few non-superhero comics in my day and so have decided to make a list of a few I highly recommend. This isn’t a “top x of all time” list since I haven’t read every non-superhero comic out there.
