Boomerang and vulture are dangerous villains, depending on the writer that month. The rest though I agree with!

Now, onto the Vulture. Yeah, it's easy to dismiss him as an unworthy opponent, but I think his perchant for being bloodthirsty is what makes him compelling. Plus, like Doc Ock, his personal interactions with the Parker family have kept from being just the run of the mill thug. Killing May Parker's love Nathan Lubensky(albeit not entirely his fault) was a despicable act.Spectacular SM#186-188 where Toomes learns he is dying of cancer and pretty much snaps, killing his former business partner Gregory Bestman and then trying to unsucessfully apologize to May for killing Nathan. It's a great couple of issues for his character, but that's the way I always feel when the Vulture is featured, there is something beyond the surface. Even when he had his young faze, he had a major impact, in order to acheive being youthful for more than a few hours he absorbed the lifeforce of one of spidey's parents, or even after that coerced the Owl into killing his old business associates. He is a sick man, even in the Marvel Knights Spider-man arc, when he was partnered with Electro, he was portrayed as a bloodthirsty psychopath. The toughest old man I've ever seen.

The Answer, has unlimited potential, but has been relegated to the background of most stories(if you read New Avengers or Dark Reign). But the possibilites of his powers are endless, gaining power upon power to devise a solution to a problem. Key issues are the Lethal Foes of Spider-Man limited series and The Outlaw Love one-shot from the I Love Marvel issues. Last I checked, freezing bullets with a dampening field or creating a battering ram out of energy or creating an invisibility cloak to escape the Vault are all pretty cool powers. He is vastly underrated and the that's why I figured you chose him because of his costume.

There are some issues that portray Boomerang as a Bullseye type character, where it is not just boomerangs that he can throw with uncanny accuracy. Examples include Spectacular SM #73, Deadly Foes of Spider-Man 2 and 3. Plus, his boomerangs all have crazy gimmicks, I think the best gimmick boomerang he had was against the Hulk, his reflexarang, which pretty much stuck the Hulk to the floor. Definetely not worthy of the worst 10.

What a weird list. Who needs it? I find it extremely amusing that a person tries to separate "cool" from "uncool" in a genre that is superchildish and supergoofy at it's very core. A guy dressed in yellow looking worse than a guy in green with tentacles in his bloody back? Is Spiderman a better name than Mindworm? Give me a break... But I do have to admit that Spiderman's suit is timeless... that's class...

Boomerang should not be on this list...any member of the Sinister Twelve and the Sinister Syndicate should be excluded. Also, check out how much he hates Spider-man in Spectacular Spider-man #144-145, tell me he is not a major threat in these issues. Don't just assume beacuse Fred Myers's just throws boomerangs that he can't be deadly, far from the truth.
