So there’s this game called Minecraft out, ok? And it’s not really a game as much as it is a sandbox with building blocks that allow you to do some wondrous things! The designer also took the words “building blocks” a bit too literally as you can see by the pic of the pink piggy, but don’t let that deter you, you’ll quickly grow to love the 3D throwback to 8-bit gaming!
The game is set to be sold for 20$ when it gets officially release, until then you can get it for the paltry sum of 10$ while it’s still in beta! Considering how many hours you’ll surely sink into this squarish gem it’ll be hard for you to find a better bang for your buck.
Now what one is able to do in Minecraft blows my mind but the game doesn’t really have a tutorial worth mentioning. That’s why some awesome people from the interwebs, such as my good friend Ben, took it upon themselves to put together great video tutorials for your viewing pleasure. Below you’ll find a sample video but make sure to check out Ben’s Youtube Channel if you have the game, and if you don’t have the game yet then it comes highly recommended?

Seriously, you won’t be sorry if you pick up Minecraft. Some people have said it’s like Lego for adults, but with monsters.
There’s so much to be said about the game! But let me try to put that down in a long list : Start on deserted land, learn how to gather ressource, get chased by zombies and skeleton for your first night, build a castle to survive the monster invasion, make swords and bows and armor, fight monsters or farm wheat and cook it into bread… So much to be done!
A lot of people have built really amazing things and there is a huge amount of interesting stuff on youtube. Watch a few Let’s Play Minecraft and you will probably want to buy the game right away.
Thanks for the link Osama
Don’t forget to pick up the game when you have some time
