I decided, with the upcoming NBA season around the corner that I would blog a bit about my thoughts and opinions of how things might pan out this season. But let’s first begin, or outline if you may, what happened in this very busy off-season, just in case there’s anyone out there that missed out!
Though there were many changes that occurred this off-season, I will try my best to mention the most notable and significant ones. I guess we can begin with Shaq going to the Cavs.
Last night’s UFC 91 fight between Randy Couture and Brock Lesnar was epic in more ways than one. I’m sure I wasn’t the only person who saw the similarity between it and the Rocky series, but I just couldn’t help bringing it up never-the-less.
So the regular season is just around the corner and it seems like the Montreal Canadiens are going to make a strong impression! It’s more important for the Canadiens to win the cup than any other team this year. Why? Because they have a lot to lose. The Canadiens are the only team to have won
I used to be a huge MMA (mixed-martial arts) fan. I’ve watched all of the original UFCs (Ultimate Fighting Championship) when Royce Gracie was king! I loved the structure back then: Eight fighters face off in one-on-one fights within a single 1 day tournament until only one person is left. It was exciting and romantic and felt more like a video game than Boxing or even WWE (then WWF) did.
