Happy Ramadhan everyone! Too tired to think of a new prayer so I’m copy-pasting last years
Not very festive, I know. So sue me!
“May your blessings be too many to count… And your worries too few to matter. May your days be filled with Sunshine… And your nights in comfort. May you never go hungry… And be able to share your bounty. May God bless and protect you… And strengthen your faith. May the next Eid we celebrate be free from oppression, hatred, persecution, and fear… My wishes to all for a blessed Ramadan and please remember those who go hungry all year long… Ramadan Mubarak to all.”
As most of you have undoubtedly already known for a week now, my most anticipated game of this year has been delayed 1 week due to a couple of Qur’anic verses found within one of its songs. Being a Muslim who has been absorbing every little bit of information about Little Big Planet since its announcement, the delay was almost surreal to me.
I just wanted to take this opportunity, on behalf of everyone at Towards Mecca (even the atheist guy), to wish you all a blessed and happy Ramadhan!
When I heard the news that the new Iron Man movie was actually pretty good, I have to say that I took it with a grain of salt. To be honest, I don’t think much of the recent Marvel movies. Sure, they’re pretty much all better than Superman Returns, but none so far have been as good as Batman Begins (with the possible exception of the second X-Men movie). Coming from me, it might sound strange since I’m a huge comic book fan and movie enthusiast, but I started to believe that non-Batman comics and movies should not cross paths again. At least not when Hollywood is involved.
Let’s start by setting the record straight. I’m a Muslim. I’m not a Terrorist nor do I have any criminal record of any kind. I believe that the events of September 11th, 2001 were horrible and I do not support their perpetrators in any which way. I love Canada and plan on living here for the rest of my life if I can help it.
